The range of services is excellent and service seems of a very professional and high standard. JL Career Solutions consider all situations their clients might find themselves in and offer alternative solutions for those who might need their CV quicker or additional services. Costs for all additional services are very clearly laid out, so there are no hidden charges. Clients appear to be treated on a very individual basis. JL Career Solutions consider all your needs before putting together a unique quote to suit your requirements. They feel this is a fair way to charge for services, so the more time they spend on your CV the more they charge - this sounds fair to us too. Jackey Leaper is the owner of the company and was inspired to set up JL Career Solutions after being disappointed with what was already on offer in this market. She has worked as a Key Life Skills Trainer and a CV and Job Search Expert, so has plenty of experience. JL Career Solutions are open until late into the evening and is available at weekends. They like to speak to all their clients in person to get to know them. Importantly, they also comment about you wanting to get to know them and it's helpful that they are already thinking in this mind-set before you even speak to them, therefore an information exchange should be easy. A unique feature to JL Career Solutions is support for dyslexia. We haven't seen this mentioned on any competitor websites and it's a shame that they don't elaborate on how they help dyslexic clients but, having said that, it's also great to see that it's just part and parcel of everyday activity. Also mentioned is support for those who do not speak English as their first language. JL Career Solutions appear to pride themselves in their attitude, provisions and also in the quality of the presentation of their work, using high quality paper to print your CV and brand name discs. They pay attention to detail and we presume they listen well to customer feedback, since they have every consideration covered. They even pride themselves in having a cheaper number to call, rather than more expensive alternatives. They also have a regular landline, which is refreshing to see. There's a similar offer for job hunting advice and help, although this seems more of a standard package that is simply delivered to you, but we'd guess it's comprehensive, in line with the rest of the offerings from JL Career Solutions. The only potentially disappointing service is the CV distribution, which is fairly expensive at £55 and limited to 10 sites. However, we know how much time it takes to complete submissions to job sites and we think that, provided that the 10 sites are quite literally the top 10, it could well be worth the money.
