I cannot get over the feeling that this place is a scam. You pay for a plan and time period in which your first draft will be delivered. After days, no writer is assigned, you leave messages in their system and get no response. Then when you do get to someone they ask for another week because they want to put their very best writer on it. My neck tingled and I asked to cancel my order since it had not been assigned and no work had been started - which they stated. Major problem getting them to cancel the order and all of a sudden they found a writer. Even more hair stood up on the back of my neck so I pushed for a cancellation and the conversation was abruptly terminated. I immediately got another call pushing me to not cancel and telling me to get store credit. WTF is store credit on a web-only company. I asked them if I needed to call AMEX and initiate an incident to get this resolved. I asked for an Executive Resume. I asked for it to be specific to my field as this was for a project I was working on and not a job I was looking for.

What I got for $142.00 was a rewording of what I had written. Nothing more. It was not for a project, nor was it what I would consider to be an executive level resume.

I will say it looked very pretty. I wrote and asked them to edit it and say more about what my project experience has been and the answer was no. It wasn't their responsibility.

It was nothing more than a canned resume that I could have downloaded from my word program.

Wasted time, wasted money. I would say don't use them if you want quality!

SUMMARY
I contracted this company to write a resume for "change of career" but that is not what I got. The first resume uploaded simply reworded my original resume; however, I was looking to change career fields. After requesting a revision the resume got better but was still not up to par. Finally, after the third revision I accepted the resume out of frustration.

PROS
1. Timely customer service response

CONS
1. No verbal communication with the writer.
2. Resume is strictly written off of the submitted documents.
3. You can only include your past five jobs.
4. The resume is not "keyword" enhanced.

OVERALL
Dissatisfied

In summary, I would not recommend Resumes Planet to a friend.

with the resume that they had prepared for me I even did not get one interview and when I called them they changed their promises
